Row yellow-brown - Tricholoma fulvum

A fairly widespread mushroom from the common family.

It is found mainly in deciduous and mixed forests, but there are cases of growth in conifers. It prefers exclusively birch and is a mycorrhizal forming agent.

The fruiting body is represented by a cap, a stalk, a hymenophore.

The hat of the rowing yellow-brown can have various shapes – from conical to wide-spread. There is definitely a bump in the very center. The color is beautiful, brown-yellow, in the center – darker, along the edges – light. In a rainy summer, the hat is always shiny.

Row plates are adherent, very wide. The color is light, cream, with a slight yellowness, at a more mature age it is almost brown.

The flesh of the ryadovka is brown-yellow – dense, with a slightly bitter odor. The spores are white and look like small ellipses.

The mushroom differs from other species of the family by its high leg. The stem is very fibrous, dense, the color is the same as the mushroom cap. The length can reach about 12-15 centimeters. In rainy weather, the surface of the leg becomes sticky.

Ryadovka tolerates drought well, however, in such seasons, the size of the mushrooms is much smaller than usual.

Brown ryadovka is an edible mushroom, but according to mushroom pickers it is tasteless.

Similar species are the poplar ryadovka (grows near aspens and poplars, has a white hymenophore), as well as the white-brown ryadovka (Tricholoma albobrunneum).
