External description First a convex, then a flat cap, having a depression in the center, covered with pointed tiny scales with jagged edges. Dry bright red surface of the cap, yellowing towards the edge. Thin, slightly curved or cylindrical stem, covered at the base with a whitish thick bloom. Fragile, whitish-yellowish flesh. White disputes.

Edible Inedible.
