Golden flake (Pholiota aurivella) is a fungus of the Strofariev family belonging to the genus Flakes. Pholiota aurivella Flake golden, grows in large groups on deciduous trunks rocks or around them. Fruiting – August-September (in Primorsky Krai – from May to September). Distributed throughout Of Russia.
Hat 5-18 cm in ∅, wide-bell-shaped, flat-round with age, dense, dirty golden or rusty yellow with scattered throughout surface with reddish flakey scales. Records wide, adhering to the leg with a tooth, first light straw yellow, when ripe, olive-brown-brown.
The flesh is whitish-yellowish.
Leg 7-10 cm tall, 1-1.5 cm плот, dense, yellowish-brown, with brown-rusty scales and fibrous ring disappearing into maturity.
Mushroom season and habitat
A golden flake bears fruit from the end of spring until the fall, grows mainly in groups, in deciduous forests, on deadwood. Most often you can find a mushroom of this species on territory of China, but also golden scales are common in Russia, Japan, Europe, Australia and North America.
