Entoloma bluish belongs to the family of the same name entoloma.

This species is common throughout Europe, but is rare in almost all regions.

In Russia, there are few (Lipetsk, Tula regions). Prefers open grass, wet lowlands and peat bogs. Mushrooms are found in rather large groups. Season – August – end of September.

The fruiting body of the bluish entoloma is represented by a cap and a leg. It is a lamellar species.

The hat reaches a diameter of up to 1 centimeter, initially has the shape of a bell, then becomes convex, with a tubercle in the center. The surface of the cap is striped, radial. The skin color of the mushroom is dark gray, bluish, brownish. At the edges, the surface of the cap is lighter. The surface is smooth, the center is small scales.

The plates are rare, at first they have a creamy color, then they begin to turn pink.

The leg has the shape of a cylinder, its length usually reaches 6-7 centimeters. At the base it is widened, the color of the leg is gray, bluish, the surface is smooth, even shiny.

The pulp is without a special smell and taste, the color is bluish.

The edibility of bluish entoloma is unknown.
