Decorated ryadovka (Tricholomopsis decora) is an edible mushroom from the Tricholomov family, belongs to the Ryadovok genus.
The spore powder in the decorated rows is characterized by a white color, and the fruit body is classic, consisting of a leg and a cap. The flesh of the mushroom is most often yellowish in color, noticeably fibrous, has a characteristic woody aroma and a bitter taste. Beautiful rows have a lamellar hymenophore, the elements of which are characterized by the presence of grooves with which they grow together with the surface of the leg. The color of the plates of this mushroom is yellow or yellow-ocher, and they themselves have a sinuous shape. The plates are often arranged, narrow.
The convex cap is characterized by a yellowish color, covered with well-visible dark hairs. In diameter, it is 6-8 cm, in young fruiting bodies it often has tucked edges, and in mature mushrooms it acquires a rounded-bell-shaped shape, characterized by a flattened (often depressed) top. The edges of the cap are uneven, and its entire surface is covered with sharp scales. In color, it can be yellow, grayish-yellow, with a darker central part and lighter edges. The scales covering it, slightly darker than the rest of the surface, can be olive-brown or brownish-brown in color.
The leg of the row decorated inside is empty, has a purple (or purple with a yellow tint) surface color. Its length varies within 4-5 cm, and its thickness is 0.5-1 cm. The characteristic features of the leg of decorated rows are a slight thickening near the base, a curved shape, a fibrous surface (covered with small scales), voids inside. The color at the stem of the described mushroom is usually yellow-brown, but it can also be sulfur-yellow.
Season and habitat of the fungus
Decorated rows are most often found in mixed or coniferous forests where pine trees grow. They prefer to grow on decaying coniferous wood (more often it is pine, sometimes spruce). You can also see the decorated row on the stumps. This mushroom grows in small groups and is rare. Its most active fruiting occurs in the period from August to the second decade of October. The massive harvest of this type of mushroom is harvested from mid-August to the second half of September.
Decorated row (Tricholomopsis decora) is a conditionally edible mushroom of low quality. Its flesh is very bitter, which causes the dislike of many gourmets to this type of rowing. Actually, due to the rancid pulp, some mycologists classify the decorated ryadovka as inedible mushrooms. You can eat it fresh, but after preliminary boiling for 15 minutes. It is better to drain the mushroom broth.
Similar types and differences from them
The principle of cooking is similar to the yellow-red row.
