Collybia asema

The current name is Rhodocollybia butyracea (according to Species Fungorum).

Colibia Azema looks very original. It can have an even cap or with the edges tucked down, depending on the age of the mushrooms. When they are fully ripe, they open up more and more. It is very oily and shiny. The plates are light, almost white. A medium-sized hat can be up to 6 centimeters. The leg is thickened especially from the bottom, it is about 6 centimeters long, the mushroom looks powerful enough.

It is best to collect mushrooms such as Colibia Azema until mid-autumn from the end of summer, it is best to look for acidic soils, they can be found in almost any leaves.

This mushroom is extremely similar to oily colibia, which can also be eaten. They are so similar that some even prefer to combine them into one mushroom and consider them the same, but there are still some differences. Oily larger and with a darker cap.

FOOD QUALITY Edible.
