Birnbaum's whitehead (Leucocoprinus birnbaumii) is a mushroom from the genus Whiteheads of the Champignon family.
The cap is 1-5 cm in diameter., Finely fleshy, at a young age ovoid, oval, then conical, later campanulate-prostrate, with a small tubercle, dry, picrin-yellow, yellow tubercle, covered with a scattered yellowish flocculent bloom, with a tucked, later straight , radially furrowed edge.
